The Reaper® 594 Cam is particularly effective in large displacement 103", 110", and 124" engines, providing a superior torque band and significant horsepower gains in heavy bikes within the 2200-6250 RPM range. Smaller, high-revving 95" engines in lighter bikes will also benefit, offering enhanced throttle response and horsepower from 2500-6800 RPM. Optimal performance in larger displacement engines is achieved with an increased compression ratio, while smaller displacement engines will require it to maximize the cam's potential. The Reaper® 594 Cam requires high-performance valve springs, pushrods, lifters, and carburetor or throttle body modifications. A performance exhaust, intake, and clutch are also necessary to fully utilize the cam's capabilities.
