This thermo-injected shell incorporates a special polymer blend with varying degrees of thickness, engineered to deliver the optimal combination of impact protection and a remarkably light weight of just 1060g (for Youth Small). The inner multi-density liner ensures precise impact absorption where it's needed most, contributing to overall safety without adding unnecessary bulk. For enhanced protection against rotational forces, Alpinestars' patented low friction coating is applied to the main EPS liner, acting as a slip plane to mimic the brain’s natural defense against oblique impacts. The inner and outer surfaces are meticulously engineered to minimize these effects.

Comfort and adaptability are key for young riders. The SM3 Radium Youth Helmet's fit can be tailored thanks to available genuine spare crown and cheek pads in different thicknesses. Notably, Youth Medium and Youth Large sizes share the same EPS, allowing for easy configuration as your child grows.
