The Alpinestars Tech 3 Boots are engineered to provide an optimal blend of safety and flexibility. The upper construction utilizes an innovative, lightweight microfiber material that offers exceptional flexibility and high abrasion resistance, crucial for the demanding environment of off-road riding. Strategically placed light microfiber bellows on the front and rear enhance comfort in key flex zones, allowing for natural movement without compromising support. For critical impact areas, contoured Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) plates are integrated, including a calf protector, higher medial protector, outer lateral ankle guard, and a robust heel counter. These TPU components work in conjunction with a bio-mechanical medial blade system, which supports the ankle while allowing for controlled front-to-rear flex, significantly reducing the risk of hyperextension and impact injuries. The innovative one-piece TPU injected dual-compound foot shell, reinforced with a metal shank and co-injected toe reinforcement, provides a formidable barrier against impacts and crushes. An extended Polyurethane (PU) synthetic gaiter effectively seals out excessive water and dirt, keeping your feet dry and comfortable during long rides. The ergonomic closure system features three polymer buckles with a memory ratchet and a quick release/locking system, ensuring a precise, self-aligning fit that is easily adjustable and replaceable.
