Description
Cometic Stator Cover Gaskets are engineered to provide a reliable, leak-free seal. Constructed from AFM (Aluminum Foam Material), a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core, these gaskets offer exceptional durability and high-temperature resistance (250°F/121°C). The aluminum core provides added strength, preventing weeping or crawling, especially crucial in modern engine cases with limited sealing surfaces. Save valuable service time – AFM material doesn't stick to the engine case, making replacements quick and clean, eliminating the need for scraping. With an 85% recovery rate and excellent torque retention, you can count on a long-lasting, secure seal. No gasket sealants or silicone bead are required, and re-torqueing is unnecessary, simplifying installation and maintenance.
