This gasket eliminates the need for messy sealants and time-consuming scraping. Constructed from AFM (Aluminum Foam Material), a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core, the stator cover gasket provides exceptional sealing and durability. AFM's unique composition resists sticking to the engine case, simplifying future replacements. The aluminum core provides strength, preventing weeping or crawling, even under the demanding conditions of today’s high-performance engines. No gasket sealants or silicone bead is required, and re-torquing is unnecessary after installation. Designed and manufactured in the USA, the Cometic Stator Cover Gasket delivers the quality and performance you expect.
