Description
This stator cover gasket is constructed from AFM (Aluminum Foam Material), a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core. This innovative material provides exceptional sealing properties and an impressive 85% recovery rate while maintaining strong torque retention. The aluminum core adds strength and prevents weeping or crawling, even in modern engine cases with limited sealing surfaces. Installation is quick and easy, thanks to the AFM material's non-stick properties, eliminating the need for scraping or gasket sealants. Re-torque is also unnecessary, further simplifying the process. Cometic gaskets are proudly made in the USA, ensuring high quality and performance. This gasket is designed for extreme sealing technology and offers a high temperature resistance of more than 250°F (121°C).
