Description

The Feuling Race Series® Short-Travel Hydraulic Lifters feature a revolutionary design with only 0.115" of total travel, compared to the 0.200" travel of a full travel lifter. This reduced travel significantly increases RPM by minimizing valve float and valve-train harmonics, while maintaining a quiet engine. The short travel design also reduces the amount of oil required to fill the lifter, which mitigates oil aeration inside the lifter, especially on steep, high-lift camshaft lobes. These lifters are machined from a durable steel body, designed to withstand the demands of large lift camshafts and higher valve spring pressures, providing a slower bleed down rate. They are compatible with Feuling® HP+® or Race Series® oil pumps and ensure proper oil flow to the top end, further increasing engine RPM and valve-train stability. Precision-ground needle roller bearings with a high chromium steel axle guarantee long life and minimal friction. The high-flow, disc-style, quick-reacting check valve ensures superior reaction at higher RPM. Each set of Feuling Race Series® Short-Travel Hydraulic Lifters are Spin-Tron dyno developed and track proven for exceptional performance. These hydraulic lifters are engineered for reliability and performance where it counts.

Important to know

Feuling® recommends pumping up each lifter by hand prior to installation to remove all air and provide a fully pumped-up lifter. A thin weight oil like ATF in a squirt can works well. Short travel lifters should be set with 0.065" - 0.070" of pre-load. Feuling® recommends Race Series® lifters for engines running higher than 185 lb (84 kg) valve spring seat pressure. Feuling® recommends the use of a high volume oil pump for quieter, better performing lifters. Made in the U.S.A.
