This comprehensive Hastings replacement piston ring set provides everything needed for two pistons, covering top compression, second compression, and oil control. Each component is meticulously crafted to meet the demands of modern engines, specifically tailored for a 4.000" bore and 114" displacement. The top compression rings feature a sophisticated Barrel Face design, enhanced with a PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating. This advanced coating significantly aids in heat transfer between the piston and cylinder wall, effectively controlling combustion chamber gases to ensure maximum energy transfer to the crankshaft. The second compression rings utilize a Napier design, incorporating a reverse twist and a taper-machined ring face that duplicates the scraping edge of a positive twist torsional ring. For precise oil management, the set includes Three Piece Flex Vent oil control rings.
