The Hot Cams Stage 3 Camshaft is precision-crafted using Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining from durable 8620 billet steel, ensuring exceptional quality and longevity. Case hardened for added strength, this camshaft is engineered and dyno-proven in the USA, guaranteeing top-tier performance. Designed using advanced valvetrain software, it delivers a 5%-10% power gain, specifically optimized for peak top-end horsepower. Many cams feature Hot Cams' Improved Throttle Design (I.T.R.) technology, which enhances throttle response across the entire RPM range, providing excellent power gains in the mid-range and top-end. It's designed as a drop-in cam that utilizes stock valve springs in most applications.
