Description
James Gasket Tappet Cover Gaskets are constructed using innovative materials and manufacturing processes. The Rubber-Covered Metal line utilizes a solid steel sheet coated with a high-temperature elastomer on both sides. Strategically placed elastomer beading creates a positive seal, while a clear silicone conformal coating fills minor flange imperfections for easy removal. The Foamet® product line features an aluminum core coated with expanded nitrile rubber on both sides, further enhanced with a silicone release coating. This design guarantees a superior seal and excellent release characteristics during disassembly. These gaskets provide excellent torque retention and resist extrusion under high torque loads, ensuring long-lasting performance and reliability.
