The Jims Big Axle™ Powerglide™ Tappets are designed to revolutionize your engine's performance. Featuring a micro-finish bore, these tappets provide an incredibly tight running fit of just 0.0002", minimizing play and maximizing efficiency. The Big Axle™ roller design focuses on three critical components to enhance overall function. The outer wheel/roller boasts a 27% increase in wall size, effectively reducing harmonic distortion for improved cam lobe tracking. Pin bearings are 12% smaller, which leads to a higher RPM capability and even more accurate tracking. The axle size has been substantially increased by 36% and doubles as the inner race. This innovative design ensures the pin bearing and complete roller assembly rotate around the axle, eradicating any movement in or around the axle itself. This Powerglide™ design enhances precision and reduces wear, providing long-lasting reliability. These Jims tappets are proudly made in the U.S.A., guaranteeing top-tier quality and craftsmanship.
