The Moose Offroad Muffler Core Sleeve is a two-layer wrap constructed from high-quality 304 stainless steel wire cloth and durable, high-temperature stainless steel wool. This design provides superior heat resistance and sound absorption compared to traditional packing fiber. The sleeve ensures consistent engine performance and sound levels by maintaining optimal packing density around the core. Easily trim the sleeve with scissors to fit shorter mufflers. Designed to fit cores from 1-3/4" to 2-1/8", it includes stainless steel wire to securely hold the wrap in place. By using this core sleeve, you can increase the time between repacks by 3 to 5 times, saving you time and money. Works great with the Moose Racing Packing Pillow for optimal results.
