Important to know
When installing, torque the bolt to the OEM specification. Always use grease on the pinch bolt to achieve an accurate torque reading. Avoid using thread lock; the use of thread lock on the pinch bolt/shift lever bolt will void the manufacturer's warranty. After riding for the first fifteen minutes, check the tightness of the pinch bolt. Motorcycles vibrate, so regularly re-check the torque to prevent the shift lever from loosening.
