Description
The Prox Cast Piston Kit is engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications, often incorporating design enhancements identified by Prox engineers to optimize performance. These cast pistons are manufactured using gravity casting and a specialized aluminum alloy containing approximately 18% silicon. This high silicon content is crucial for minimizing thermal expansion, ensuring consistent performance across a wide range of operating temperatures. Suitable for both cast iron and Nikasil cylinder bores, Prox offers a comprehensive range of oversizes for Nikasil cylinders, graded in A/B/C/D sizing with diameter increments of 0.01mm.
