The outer ring is constructed from electro-less nickel-coated steel, providing superior wear resistance and extending the sprocket's lifespan. The outer ring is thermally fitted to the inner core at 200°C, creating an incredibly strong and permanent bond further reinforced by a wave pattern. Flat socket head screws provide additional strength, protecting against side impacts and preventing contact with the chain guide. Self-cleaning mud grooves between each tooth prevent dirt buildup, reducing chainwheel wear and keeping weight down.
