Description

The S&S Cycle Cam Chest Kit for M8 engines is engineered to optimize oil flow and improve valvetrain stability. At the heart of this kit is a precision-machined billet aluminum oil pump and cam plate, featuring a blue anodized finish for enhanced corrosion resistance and aesthetics. Independent scavenge sections for the flywheel cavity and cam chest ensure efficient oil return, while debris screens and a strategically placed magnet prevent contaminants from circulating through the engine. The adjustable pressure relief valve, accessible even when installed, allows for fine-tuning of oil pressure. The kit includes S&S high-performance cam chain tensioners, Quickee pushrods, and S&S precision tappets, contributing to smoother and more reliable engine operation. The billet aluminum tappet cuffs with a hard anodized black coating provide increased tappet stability, especially in high-lift and high-RPM conditions.
