Description
The S&S Cycle MR103 Easy Start Camshaft Kit is specifically designed for 103" engines with a compression ratio between 9.7:1 and 10.5:1. This bolt-in cam design allows for an easier start by initially reducing crank compression. Once the engine starts and RPM increases, the compression release lobe retracts centrifugally, restoring full compression and performance without any loss. Expect increased power, particularly in the 2500 to 5500 RPM range. Compatible with stock, un-ported heads and optimized for use with S&S CNC ported heads, this kit provides versatility and improved engine dynamics. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper coil bind, valve-to-valve clearance, and valve-to-piston clearance.
